Can't publish after I added an image gallery

User: pumpkin 12 years ago
Since I added an image gallery to my website, EasyWeb crashes each time I try to publish the site into a folder, to preview it. I filled out the crash report 3 times. Removing the gallery doesn't solve the issue though.

A bunch of people have had this problem but we haven't been able to locate it. First make sure that you have the latest beta version. Then try publishing to a different folder. If you still get this crash I'll need you to send me your website project file then so I can take a look. Send it to https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php

You can find it at;

username/Library/Application Support/EasyWeb

Note: If you don't see the Library Folder hold down the option Key on your keyboard and select the Go menu at the top of your screen. You will then see Library listed.

Please compress it before sending it to me by right clicking on it and selecting Compress. If the file is too big, you can upload it at http://ge.tt and send the link to me.

Sent.

I do have the latest Beta installed, tried publishing into a different folder. Doesn't work. Shame though. I planned to upload it to the web today.

i had that problem. When the upload locks up it shows the file that stopped it. Write the file and the hierarchy down, download your website to a desktop folder and look for the culprit. Mine was a jpg thumbnail Easyweb generated (easy to find). I deleted the standard photo from the slide show so Easyweb didn't generate the thumbnail. Now everything works. Don't know what the problem is but deleting a photo worked.

It would be nice if I could delete the photo in assets but it wasn't nesessary.

I was publishing to a folder, haven't tried uploading (and don't want to yet). Plus, the issue persists even after I deleted the image gallery and the photos.

Right, I deleted the gallery, the images from the assets list... nothing worked. It worked after I deleted the directory and the page that contained the gallery. Will build the gallery again tomorrow. Will see it it works then.
