Hey guys, I'm after a littler help, I am finding the standard EW gallery tool I’m using a little un professional and clients have also commented on the spacing and untidiness of the images when laid out (especially when used for proofing) The standard EW gallery has its limits. – only 20 images on one gallery page as well as other limitations. https://www.christopherballardphotography.co.uk/wedding.html I’m looking for a 2 types of image gallery. 1) A gallery that can do on my index page and looks like a collage, intelligently places all the images of similar sizes together etc - no limits on image numbers. 2) One that allows lots of images and has controls for thumbnail size, border – size, shape (square or rounded) & drop shadow. When clicked shows the image in a light box and offers a share feature. I have been trying a few in WordPress but I don’t like the way WordPress removes a lot of the design freedom EW gives me (even with the D&D themes & plugins). - https://christopherballardphotography.co.uk/inder.php/ 3) Finally a method of password protecting albums would also be fantastic – I know I can accomplish this at folder level on my host but a simple option on the album would be fantastic as well as both being responsive too. Do you have anything like this?, could you develop something like this? I don't want to leave EW for WordPress but this is a big deal for me when my clients comment on it. There are a couple of widgets in the Image Galleries pack that might work for you. Justified Grid Image Gallery Photographer's Auto Gallery I will be updating these for EverWeb V2.8 when it is released. Hi Chris! You may configure various Image gallery settings, including increasing page size, in Inspector > Widget settings, after selecting the widget. There will be a new Responsive image gallery widget in the upcoming EverWeb release, hopefully, next two weeks. I can also suggest third-party widgets: http://www.everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets/image/galleries.html As for the password protection of albums, it is unfortunately not implemented yet. Here's a demo of the fully responsive version of the Auto Gallery which will be released for EverWeb V2.8. It auto generates the thumbnails, creates a full width justified grid from images of varying aspect ratio and can handle up to 500 images. Large image captions can be generated from the alt text attribute if required although this is not really necessary as clients can identify the images by the number displayed in the optional slide counter.
