Hi everyone, I have a site establishing myself as a freelance graphic designer for everyone, but I am also involved in the classic car movement and want to launch a new product for owners. I could open up a new website with a different name, but that means a new domain name and so forth. It would need to have a different look and feel to it, and I’m a little undecided which route to take. 1: A new site. 2: A new look to a page for this with a link on the existing menu bar, and when advertising on leaflets etc., give the same web address, but add /new product – or whatever I call it. I was just wondering if anyone has done anything like this before and what route you took? Any advice or opinions welcome. Many thanks. |

If you want to publish it to the same domain but keep its content and identity separate, publish it as a sub site. Create the site on a separate project file and upload it as a directory of the main site. Hello Roddy, Many thanks for getting back to me, and that’s excellent news. I think I understand what to do, I’ll try a test page. It wouldn’t hurt to have one anyway for trying out new ideas privately. |
