I'm trying to migrate to HTTPS and am having problems creating some relative text links within Everweb. Maybe I'm being thick but, say I want to link to a page that's part of my domain but not created within Everweb, I have something like this... http;//www.mydomain.com/non-everwebfolder/file.html Whenever I try to enter /non-everwebfolder/file.html in Everweb 'Link to External Page' it appends http:// to it resulting in... http://non-everwebfolder/file.html Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

It is unfortunate that there isn't an option for entering a relative file path in the link inspector. You would need to use an absolute path or create the link with one of the many widgets which offer the option of inserting a relative path. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Thanks Roddy, I have loads of widgets (incl. yours) but I'm struggling to find one appropriate for regular image or text links. Nothing fancy. Any suggestions? | |

The new Image widgets are HERE Text links aren't used so much now and are being replaced by CTAs - Call To Action. Any type of link can be inserted into the text field in a widget. See THIS page for more info. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
