Viewing Preview button - image background not displayed

Preview button - image background not displayed

Everweb page preview button launches the various browsers, but does not display image background. Tested in Chrome, Firefox & Safari.

Setup 1
Page background is Image fill with image from assets. Tried all options for Fit, Stretch,Tile. Browser background is set to color fill.
Image fill is not displayed in Preview. Page displays as solid color.
If other objects (text, images) are present in content area, they display properly, but still no background image.

Setup 2
Page background is set to None (similar result with Color Fill).
Browser background is Image Fill from assets. Tried all fit options.
(this sort of makes sense if the page covers all of the browser window).

Should the Page or Browser image background display in the various browser Previews?
Different process required?

OK, I think this is pilot error, rather than some software mystery. This newb user must have made a Master Page, used it as the Home Page, deleted the Master Page from the Master Page pane of the Everweb page menu, then duplicated the Home page several times to make new pages with same Nav bar and new content. Seems that the Home Page and its duplicates have Master Page properties, even though the Inspector>Page panel shows no Master Page selected. Unfortunately, newly applied page and background fills are overridden by the Master Page properties. Just a guess. Does that sound plausible?

Anyway, I can apply image backgrounds to a new page created with the New Page button in the tool bar. Image fills on this new page show up in Preview in all the browsers. I am also testing via MAMP (Published Everweb project to a folder in MAMP>htdocs). Background image fills show as expected in the MAMP local url. Started over using the new page and dupes thereof. Seems to work OK. Comments welcome.
