Blog page loading extremely slow

To load the homepage on the server is very fast, and to other pages also the same, but not the blog page. I've set up 2 blog pages and result the same, so I am wondering maybe it's a bug. I use Chrome developer mode to lode the blog page and found out that the "jquery-" initial files are pending and failed to load. Please see the attachment below. Is there anything I can do to fix it or it's just a bug that need to be fixed? thanks. | |

Hi Yen, Are you loading the page from within mainland China or in Hong Kong? Is it a connection that goes through mainland China? If so it could be that Chinese Firewall is blocking your connection to Google to download jQuery. Who is hosting your website? Yes, I worked in China, Shanghai City, and using local server provider "https://wanwang.aliyun.com". I believe it should be the Chinese Firewall if the jQuery has to be download from Google. Is there other option to avoid the problem?

I'm not familiar with the details of the Chinese Firewall but you can download from jQuery rather than Google. jQuery - and many other popular scripts - are available from Chinese servers. Here's one place to look for links to your favorite script. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! We will need to include an option in EverWeb to only use a local copy of jQuery, or specify the remote location of jQuery to prevent this issue.

Yes! I have the same thought, otherwise people can't use the blog feature where they cannot access Google. Should I open a ticket to report?
