Would be nice. Also, the ability to have individual, sharable files for websites, not every site a hidden file within the package of the application. |

Quote: to have individual, sharable files for websites, Do you mean to share with other EasyWeb users? That's the only reason you would want to share the files in Application Support. Otherwise you would publish to a local folder. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! | Yeah. Sometimes I'll design a website for someone, and I'll want to give it to them to put on their Mac where they can maintain it from there. I was able to do this with iWeb by going into the package contents and finding the content for the page, but it was very tedious and annoying - and you couldn't be working on multiple website for multiple people at the same time without constantly trading the hidden files. | |

If you want to pass on an EasyWeb site to someone else to maintain it's just a question of sending them the project folder so that they can open it in their own copy of EW. You can post edit the EasyWeb published files a lot more easily than you could edit iWeb files. On the other hand, if you or your client could do this, you wouldn't be using a drag and drop app like EW anyway. It takes three mouse clicks and two double clicks to get to the EW project folder. How do you think this could be made less "tedious and annoying"? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Quote: Projects look like this "04EF8EEEB34344AD98D205A0760C2B0B.easyweb" Unless you only have one project, or are good at memorizing strings of numbers, you are going to need a little more info than this! To get a clue about which site is which you can open the folder and then the one named "Web Pages". The page names will help you identify the sites. If you are designing for clients, and have a large number of sites, it's probably worth maintaining a text file with the individual site code numbers and the site names. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
