How long does it take for a domain to become active?

I purchased a domain name from Rage. I am ready to publish but in "My Account" it says that my domain is "pending". 1. How long does it usually take for a domain to become active? 2. Is it OK that I already "published" my site to my domain even though it was not active? Thanks, Pete |
