Hi. I've noticed that some things in iWeb are "gone" in EverWeb. For example: there is a way to add shadow to text? Thanks in advance for any help. LM |

Many of the options in iWeb were there due to the fact that it was developed along the lines of a DTP application rather than one for web design. Quite a few of these are not really recommended for website us. Text shadow would normally be avoided since it reduces readability - especial;;y for those with reading difficulties. The exception would be in the h1 heading in the header with the website name or perhaps the h2 with the page name. If you need to add text shadow to these for decoration you can use a widget like THIS one. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! HI Luico, You can add shadows to text. Just use the Shadow option under the Shapes metrics while the text is selected. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
