Hi. First time on the forum - Everweb is so intuitive I've not needed to come on here before, however that's all changed after my client asked for reCaptcha on his contact form! I've tried using the Everweb codebox contact form and adding the Captcha, but I find it very complicated. The form loaded on the site but wouldn't verify - so forms wont send. I then upgraded to latest Everweb - tried great new in-bult contact form but discovered after contacting Everweb that you can't add reCaptcha. Can anyone help? Site is here http://www.canyoudigit.co.uk/index.html with basic form which is working, but no reCaptcha... Thanks! |

Hi Ian I had a look at this probably best to see if Roddy can help you with the everwebcodebox widget. I know usually he does not provide support for the widgets but you can only try :) I'm looking at Google recaptcha myself at the moment so if I find anything of use for you I'll post back here (no promises though!) |

ReCaptcha requires two codes - a site key which is inserted into the form HTML and a secret key which is inserted into the PHP script. When I first added the reCaptcha option to the form widgets it was a simple matter of checking a box. Now it has developed into a little game where the visitor has to match similar images. It's better to tighten up your spam control than make your visitors suffer this stupidity.
