Fonts not changing

User: Lucas A. 9 years ago
When I go to change fonts from regular to bold or vice versa (such as Arial), it does nothing. I'm using Everweb 2.0.

Hi Langdon,

If you are selecting Bold or Regular from the Typeface window in the Fonts panel but you have the Bold option applied to the text that could be the problem.

If you want a regular font select Arial regular and make sure the Bold option is not applied to the text (you can toggle bold by selecting the text and pressing Command-B on your keyboard)

Using 2.0 all H1 headings revert to the default text style. When the text is selected and the Font Window opened to alter the text box it indicates a change action with the small arrow in a green disc but no action occurs.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi Dona,

This is very strange because it works OK for me.

Can you provide some more details on what you are doing.

1. You add the Header widget to your website
2. You open the font panel
3. You change the font for the header
4. Nothing actually ends up changing

Is this correct?

Or are you using a third party Header widget?

Hi,

Yes, that's the sequence of events. In the past I have used third party widgets but at the moment I don't think I have any installed. Just to confirm the Everweb Header widget is the one with a capital H surrounded with less than and greater than symbols. Correct?

If so that is what is happening. Curious what to do.

HI,

I deleted the header block and replaced a few. However there was no change.

1. Used the standard widget
2. Opened font panel
3. Changed font to a Google font of different size
4. No change of font or size although the green arrow indicate change.

I also had upgraded to build 1661

Thanks for any thoughts

That certainly sounds very strange. What happens when you publish your site?

Could you contact customer support and send in your project file so we can determine what is going on?

Haven't published since the blog is still populated with actual content and there are still some issue on preview with blog spacing and color shift of fonts.

Will open ticket and upload the file tomorrow when online for real.

Thanks for the assistance so far
