Viewing Uploading website changes port error

Uploading website changes port error

User: Tony H. 7 years ago
Hi I am trying to update my website. But when i try to upload site changes i get to the new part of my site that has changed and i get an error
EverWeb could not connect to port 53886
To solve this issue, open the preferences and turn off 'Secure publishing' under the Accounts tab. Then, turn off 'Use passive FTP connections' under the Publishing tab and try publishing again
I have also had port 53687 as well come up with the same error as well as other port numbers beginning wit 5****
I have never had problems before but I do see that my storage is full. Could this be preventing me from uplaoding my website.
How do i clear my storage?

Hi Tony,

See this knowledgebase article for the reason why this happens.
