Viewing Justified Text Widget

Justified Text Widget

User: Yelena 9 years ago
I have tried to use Justified Text widget (yes, Roddy, I know we should not use it) and it looks fine in Safari and Chrome but very different in Firefox. Why? And is there a workaround?

Do you have a website showing these issues that I can take a look at?

The font name is Open Sans not OpenSans.

I choose the Font from the Fonts window, not enter it manually...

Open Sans is a Google hosted font.

You need to correct the name in your fonts folder by putting a space between Open and Sans.

It is correct in the Folder, it looks like Open Sans, not OpenSans.... And as I said, it publishes just fine in both Chrome and Safari....

I tried changing to different Fonts including Web Safe ones... The same problem. The fonts seem to reverse to some sort of default font in Firefox ( and on an IPad and IPhone as well)

The font is reverting to the browser default because the specified font won't load. If you use a non web safe font or a Google hosted one, you should specify a fallback font - or at least a generic group which in this case would be sans-serif.

It looks as though you are using the widget from AllAboutiWeb. You would need to contact the author about your problem.

It looks fine for me on FireFox.

I don't see any errors that would be causing this in the console.

What version of FireFox are you using?
