We've posted an update to EverWeb to bring better compatibility for Mac OS Sierra. Although we are calling this 1.9.7, we put significant effort into fixing a few issues and optimizing EverWeb for Mac OS Sierra, we just want to save room for the even bigger 2.0 release! How to Update EverWeb 1.9.7 is ONLY for macOS Sierra users. To update to EverWeb 1.9.7 please make sure you have an active upgrade and support plan. Then while using EverWeb, use the Check For Update option from under the EverWeb menu. An update will only be provided for users using Mac OS X 10.12. The main issue with Mac OS Sierra is the previewing of your website. We've also included a lot of optimization and bug fixes for a better macOS Sierra support. Let us know what you think, and remember, 2.0 is on it's way as well! :-) Last edit 7 years ago ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

I opened EverWeb after your posting of 1.9.7 and got the update dialog that I see now from this post I wasn't supposed to get. I updated. So far I haven't had any issues from this. Should I expect any? Should I return to the previous version? Thanks.

I take that back about nothing wrong - it has developed the tendency to seem to hang at the end of an upload - actually done but requiring me to press stop. The site seems ok. Tomorrow I'll look for the last version to install unless I hear otherwise. Still using 10.11 until we get home in a few weeks.

After trying the update, a lot of graphics on my website appear super small. They publish fine, but in the app while editing the site they are undersized.

It works on OS X 10.7 and later. If you do have any issues, please contact support and we'll help you fix any issues ASAP. This happened because you moved your project from a non retina mac to a retina mac. If you just slightly adjust the object EverWeb will refresh it for your screen. We're working on making this happen automatically. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
