Or even a conversion tool from iWeb to EW? Lol

Hi Chris,

Have you built in a more sophisticated SEO optimiser? Added tables or layers?

Can you be more specific, what kind of SEO features are you looking for?

Hi Paul,

Something that will help people to optimise websites to ensure they have a good chance of being found in the major search engines. I know EW lets you put quotes in the page etc but often people fill these with quote and tags that aren't even on the site. I know search engines check the content is relevant and score the site based on this.

I just thought that maybe a system that would check your site and feed back on SEO results you may get or even offer suggestions to improve SEO.

It was just a thought as I know RAGE has a separate SEO tool I thought you may had included this in EW lol

Nested directories? Instant alpha?

The idea of being able to edit photos in-app (like iWeb did) would be nice, if not in this upcoming version.

OK, thanks for the additional information! We do have some plans on improving this but really this is a completely different product. It's a large project to analyze a website like this.

I am soooo looking forward for this update ! I would LOVE to be a tester :) I filled up the signup - feel free to send me a test copy :) be sure I would test it as much as I can :)
Lets say the tests are positive when do you think the 2.0 is going to be an official download?

I would love to see photo editing in the app (just like iWeb, Pages etc etc has). And instant alpha. And masking.

The thing that really made iWeb great to me was that it truly was a one-stop-shop. You could just throw stuff in there and just start DESIGNING. In most cases no need to open images in external applications to make tiny changes etc.
This is the main way EverWeb falls short compared to iWeb.

Question about blogging in 2.0:
Will you make it usable without the EverWeb app? In other words, if I design a webpage for a client, can they post blogs via the web?
User: Paul-RAGESW 7 years ago
Masking is already there in the toolbar but it is good to know that image editing is so highly requested we can definitely add that.

Blogging will eventually allow you post outside of the EverWeb application. We are working towards that.

Thanks for the feedback!

I thought this new feature would be obvious but no one has guessed it yet :)

How about a delete warning?

I'm guessing and hoping that you have fixed the spell check issue so that we don't have to remember to tun "Spell check while typing" every time we start using EverWeb. 😃

How about in app. photo editing? Like spell check, it's built into OSX...

iWeb and Preview and maybe a few more apps. have access to what appears to be an Apple basic photo editor, I was hopping that Everweb would take advantage of it too. If you've never noticed it, in preview it's under (Tools-Adjust Color) this was very useful and also gave you the ability to cut out backgrounds too in iWeb. As a developer you don't have access to this?

My guess: DTP text formatting: numeric lists, bullets and enhanced image text wrapping?

Another guess: Search and spelling check automatically scrolls page down when necessary.

How about this one: Anchors?

The reason the link fill doesnt work is cause you need to put http:// in front. Worked a treat for me.

Is the new feature an online editing tool? So people can login around the world using their browser to edit text and photos????
