Cannot use secure FTP over ssh and trying to get around by publishing to a shared folder (secured through OS X server file sharing protools): ever web crashes! and I cannot even use Everweb crash reporter, a second window describing the error pops up! clicking OK close Everweb!!!! It is very disappointing that an application made for mac is not supporting FTP over ssh or crashes when publishing to a shared folder on a Mac server. UPDATE: The error was due to a permission issue on the server (folder was read-only). The error message that prevented from using Everweb bug report system showed up after the bug report dialog. Apparently everweb does not check permissions before starting publishing and the error is caught too late? Last edit 9 years ago |
