I'm trying to figure out where I should create a site for an artist, Everweb or some place else. There are going to be pictures of his art under various categories; oils, acrylics, collage, whatever. Under each of those categories, there may be upwards of 30 photos. In each category he wants a small pix of each art piece in that catagory and you'll click that small pix to go to a page with that piece of art in a much larger pix size. So people don't have to keep clicking back to the small pix category page he'd like all the big picture pages to have a "back" and "next" link or button on them on either side of the large picture so people can go from one to the next. Is there an easy way or a widget or something to make those buttons/links work or do I have to do them all by hand? So every time he changes a pix I have to not only change the page the pix is on but change the links in the pix before and after it. Thanks, Susan |

If it is just a large image that needs to be shown - without info except for a caption - an image gallery would work. Hmmmm ok I just woke up and am on first cup of tea... I'll have to read more about that, I don't think I've ever used one. I have used a slider and I do know when you get too many pix in them they take a while to load. Once on 2nd cup of tea I'll read up about the image gallery. Thanks again Roddy! Susan |
