| It's probably just me, but with 1.9.6 (just updated this morning) I can no longer paste text and jpeg images on pages. Relaunching EverWeb doesn't seem to help. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks. | |

HI Ed, Sorry for the problems you are experiencing. I can't reproduce this. Can you provide some more details about what you are doing so I can follow the steps? For example, are you copying from a specific application, or from within EverWeb? Are you able to copy and paste with other applications? | Just copying various text blocks from Word like I always have. The jpegs are from my photo library. I’ve been developing copy like this for two years with Everweb, no issues at all. Now I have to open the image in Photoshop, copy the pic, and then — using the PASTE commander — paste the pic on the desktop. Kind of a hassle, hope you guys can help me out. | |

Paul, I have never done a copy image to page before, but just tried it. I copied an image that is on my desktop, pasted it onto a page in EW; the result was only getting a Text Box with the name of the image, but no image, and nothing showed up in Assets either. I tried with 2 images. Save and Publish just yields the image title on the page. You can see the results here, I dragged the 2 images onto the bottom of the page so you can see them. The 2 text boxes are from trying to copy them to the page. Dragging an image onto the page still works fine, and puts it in Assets too. |
