New User Making a Gallery for a small business, rectangle photos are so small and far apart?

So I have migrated here from Iweb. I am adding a product gallery to a lot of my web pages. I use a lot of rectangle photos. They look very small, and have a lot of empty space below them. Are galleries only designed to show square photos properly? Any help appreciated. |

It looks like the default EW Gallery does prefer square images. With the Gallery selected, look at the Inspector on right, the are Orientation & Vertical Alignment, mess with those if you haven't. Aspect Ratio is important in that all images should be the same layout. If you haven't seen these, check them out, they may help & the site is a big help. Here's some info about preparing the images and loading them into a slideshow widget. There are quite a few slideshow and carousel widgets and some galleries If you are creating two or three versions of the site for different devices, you may want to consider using the Touch widgets for achieving this quickly.
