Text Stuck in Hyperlink Mode

Hello - Somehow new text often gets hyperlinked if I add it to a list where there is a hyperlink in the previous listing. I have tried everything to unlink it. Nothing works. The toolbar does not show that it is linked. Something must be corrupted. I have attached a .pdf of the most recent problem. It is the purple, underlined text in the upper left side. Please advise. I messed with this and the only way I could replicate was to create a link, then hit enter to go to next line. I stopped it by hitting space bar then enter. So try putting in a space before doing anything after making a link. Maybe that will fix it for you. |

Hi Kathleen, This is happening because you have set the entire text object to a link. Select the object without double clicking it so that you CANNOT edit the text. Then go to Inspector->Hyperlink and remove the hyperlink for the shape as a whole. Then you can double click the object to create a link for on specific text in it. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
