Paypal purchase and downloadable music?

I'm just wondering if there is a way to set up Paypal / EverWeb to be able to deliver downloadable music? And if there is, I'd love to see a tutorial on how to? So the idea is, they hear the sample, they want to buy, they click Buy Now, are taken to PayPal, put through a payment, and then PayPal redirects them to the downloadable product. Any help would be most appreciated, Ben |

If you want to use PayPal as the payment gateway you need to choose one of their partners who do digital delivery. I use E-Junkie for delivering widgets. Prices start at $5 per month. The alternative is to get your tracks into iTunes etc via a digital distributor such as CDBaby and then send your customers to the appropriate page. To see how this works, see the Responsive Table Player at the bottom of THIS page. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Thank you Roddy. I looked at your link for EverWeb widgets - the audio. Great. I listened to your music. Lovely. Very familiar. I seem to remember getting good advice from you about iWeb way-back-when. I found a tutorial that suggests I can create a round-trip to and from Paypal, and the digital file can be downloaded directly from my website. Not super secure, in the sense that anyone can then pass on the URL to get direct access to the downloadable file. I thought I could start with this to see if I get enough action to make the endeavour worth the effort of marketing. If I go with CDBaby then there is simply a link to CDBaby on 'my' site? And CDBaby does the transaction and download? And I have to have an account with CDBaby ... my eyes cross with the number of 'small' accounts I have already (I make films for a living). But I was thinking about CDBaby and now I will go and do the appropriate research. Thank you kindly for your help Roddy, most appreciated. All the best, Ben Last edit 10 years ago |

I still have an e-book about how to do all the stuff with CDBaby although I don't bother selling it anymore. If you Contact Me , I'll send you a copy.
