Make Full Width Shape with Gradient

| Hello, I am currently working on a personal website prototype. One of the features I want on this website is of course a full width shape with a left to right gradient effect. The problem is that when trying to make such a shape, it refuses to extend to full width. By contrast, a solid color shape will extend to full width. I have included an attachment of what the gradient shape appears to do. Does anyone know of a way around this issue? If so, I would like to know! Thanks! | |

There is a widget which will create a full width shape with background gradient and adjustable angle and opacity.
