More Flex Updates

User: Roddy 8 years ago
Two new Flex widgets are available which use responsive full width along with fixed height. These are similar to the Flex Image Fixed Height widget - one is for creating a cross fade, full width fixed height image and the other for a full width, fixed height banner/slider.

If the demo pages are scrolled it will become obvious that the full width, fixed items have also been fixed in position so that the content scrolls up over them to give an effect that a lot of EverWeb users have requested.

To allow the above effect, all the Flex content widgets have been updated with two new controls. These are checkboxes which add a “coverall” div to extend the content area background to the full width and a compensate CSS rule to allow the content to move upwards when the main navigation disappears on mobile devices. See THIS page for more info.

The following widgets have been updated with these new controls ...
2 x Figure, 2 x Modal, 4 Modules, Banner, Carousel, Contact, Gallery, HTML, Image, Map, Modules, Sidebar, Slider, Video, Video JS, Vimeo, Wrap and YouTube.

NOTE: These updates only need to be applied if using any of the content widgets beneath a full width, fixed height object which has been fixed in position to stop it being scrolled along with the rest of the content.

Due to the number of widgets involved, those who have previously purchased the Flex widgets or the Flex Bulk pack have been sent a download link to a folder with the new widgets and the eighteen updated ones.
