Full-Width Proportional Element

--Roddy In EverWeb's Inspector under the Metrics tab, there is an option to BOTH select "Constrain proportions" and "Full width." With both checkboxes selected, EverWeb will make the element full width, but does not preserve its proportions—the image will distort with the resizing of a window. L C |

It probably needs a control to set the height to auto. As I pointed out in your other post, a responsive image is created by giving it 100% width and auto height. To get 100% width in EverWeb requires the use of the Full Width control. I never made an image insert widget for the Responsive widgets simply because I thought the EverWeb image insert would do it! ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Quote: With both checkboxes selected, EverWeb will make the element full width, but does not preserve its proportions—the image will distort with the resizing of a window. This is because the height would be adjusted and the elements under the object won't be moved down and the image would cover them. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
