Don't you think EW should care of this? Where is the 'building responsive sites' part of it?

I don't understand what you mean by this. Can you give some more detail?

Do you have a demo built in 1.8.2 that works on your iOS device?

It seems the widget is not working in Safari anymore since the coming of 9.1. The bounce stopped on the 1.8.2 sites using Safari also. However, it works nice in Chrome on mobile devices. So I'm thinking about to remove the widget asap.

Point for me is, I prefer to work with the default widgets because first, it's the core app, second, they update with new features, third, they have a supportdesk. But EW misses some important features like multi navigation menu's (for mobile sites), extended slider opportunities, whatever.
For these 'missing options', codebox is an added value.

This year EW users are going to have probably 3 updates. Each update has/had pretty nice new features. The one with the 'full width' is a great one. It gives the designer much more opportunities to optimize his sites to satisfy the customer. A lot of time is spent doing this.

Unfortunately some widgets are not doing well after an update and a solution is necessary. Replacing a default widget with a codebox one and vice versa because it’s necessary for the good working (looks) of the website costs me a lot of time.
Don’t underestimate the impact of the updates. It could have major consequences.

About the responsive sites, I am still convinced this could solve many problems in the mobile sites discussion. But that’s my opinion. NOTE: Any opinions expressed in this forum are my own.

We hope to release it next week.

I cannot remember off hand which build number we are on but if you are using any of the beta versions use the Check For Update under the EVerWeb menu to check for any updates.
