I posted this same problem 12 days ago and it is still happening. I am now connected to the Internet via Ethernet cable and whether I connect directly or use the wireless router and modem, it is not allowing for a smooth upload. It takes me anywhere from 8 to 20+ attempts to upload any changes I'm making to my teaching website. This is very frustrating and is not making my job as a teacher any easier. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you, Christine Dion |

Hi Christine, Sorry for the problems you are experiencing. I understand how frustrating this is. I am still unsure why this keeps happening for you. Quote: I am now connected to the Internet via Ethernet cable and whether I connect directly or use the wireless router and modem, it is not allowing for a smooth upload. It could still be a firewall system you either have configured on your computer or through your modem or your router. Do you know if you have any kind of firewalls set up? I am continuing to investigate on my end too. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Can you tell me if you have the use passive connection option selected in the Publishing tab of EverWeb's preferences?

| The passive connection option is NOT selected. I also tried turning off the Firewall just while publishing and it still gives me the same error message. | |

Can you select the Passive connection option. It should be selected. Also, which firewall are you referring to? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| Thanks for the feedback on the Passive connection. I've selected it and I had turned off the firewall to my computer (only when publishing). But I turned it back on and tried to publish. So far this is working. I will be publishing several times tonight so if it gives me trouble again, I'll let you know. Thanks again for the response. | |
