I found an earlier post on this but no posted resolution. I've been inserting and editing text using the avenir medium font. Just all of a sudden the on-screen rendering of the font is darker than the previously typed text; an alternative explanation is that the previously typed text is not rending the appropriate darkness (I'll explain why I think this in a second) In the attached screenshot, you will see "Defense before NC ..." is darker. That's new text that I typed from a few minutes ago. The other text had been typed a while back (and FYI it has been cut/pasted to death, from iWeb, to a wordpress site, etc.). In other words, it's not original typing into EW. I managed to solve the problem by selecting "all" text in the text box; totally changing the color (in my case to a yellow for no real reason) then back to black. |
