Hi, I am a photographer and retoucher and I would like a horizontal scrolling gallery which uses rollovers of each image in the scroll for 'before and after images' (not automatic scrolling but by touch). Like this website here. before and after scrolling gallery Is this possible to do in Everweb? I am not a coder so if anybody can give any advice I would be very grateful. There are widgets for cross fade on time delay and hover . The hover version will create the effect shown in your example. I have never seen it done in a carouse before. I suppose it could be done using the same technique in a carousel that uses divs rather than a simple list or a bunch of <img> tags. Hovers of course don't work on touch devices such as iPhone/iPad. The effect should work with a tap but there would be no undo via a second tap. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! | Thanks Roddy! I have only seen it on 2 websites so far but it looks really good as a way of showing before and afters. I have searched everywhere on google but cannot find out how it is done. I have your smooth rollover widget which works perfectly, but I wouldn't have a clue on how to put them in a carousel. | |

Here's a quick demo of cross fade in a slider. It would be a question of finding a way to insert them in a carousel with differrent sizes of images. I'm kind of busy just now creating a bunch of new widgets for galleries, sliders and albums so it may be a while before I can get to trying to make it work. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Thanks for your help Roddy. That looks perfect. Please let me know if you do make the widget or anything similar. Your widgets have been a brilliant help in me designing my website.
