Save Pages as .php

| An option to save pages as either .html or .php would be very helpful. Users could then append some php scripting to selected pages and save them in the site without having to go through all the navigation menus and change all references from .html to .php. A simple option in the Publishing Settings that allowed the user the choice of saving as .html or .php. All internal link references should switch from .html to .php or vice versa on selection of the preferred file output. | |

More cries for help. Configure the server to execute php code in html files instead. http://trotter.hol.es/html-as-php/ |

| Jumbo T. Thanks for the suggestion but if you do not have privileges to update the top level .htaccess or configure the server you have the problem of updating all the links. Not everyone has configuration access. | |

Do not make up excuses. In this case the htaccess file is in the html-as-php folder and only configured for the index.html file. <FilesMatch index.html> AddHandler fcgid-script .html </FilesMatch> |

| Thank you Jumbo T. I did not know you could configure that in the local folder, it is a hidden file so could not see it was there. Everything I read said it was configured at server or "top level .htaccess, because I could not see the file I assumed I did not have access to it, I will try and configure my folder to run html files as php, that will be very helpful. | |
