Navigation titles not showing after upgrade to 1.90 build 1444

I have recreated a web site after upgrading to 1.9.0 build 1444 and the first five navigation items do not show up. The last two are OK. The first one, Home, is not a dropdown. The others all are. At first I thought it was because I had used the "redirect to first child page" feature, which I believe is new. But it makes no difference. Do I need to go back to the previous version until this is fixed? Thanks -Paul- |

Hi Paul Redirect to first child page is used as follows, if you have a directory called Test and child pages MyTest, YourTest etc, having redirect checked on Test, takes the user to the first child page MyTest. If it's not checked then clicking on Test takes you to the page Test. When you select redirect you the page Test should show "Press the 'add button' to add new pages to your directory' displayed. It's a feature in EverWeb since a few versions ago. Have you tried to publish the entire site to see if that works? Do you have the same problem then? |

Thanks for the help on the redirect. I have tried publishing the entire site but it didn't help. -Paul- |

I take it that you have made sure the "Include Page In Navigation" box is checked in the Page inspector for each directory/page? If they are, try uncheck and recheck and then publish the whole site. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Hi, Just done that but it made no difference. I could try to upload the site to a different address for you to look at. Or send you the data. -Paul- |

You should open a trouble ticket and get help from EverWeb support with this in case it really is a bug in V1.9. Click the Support tab at the top of this page.

I have done as you suggest and have also advanced my tests. The problems I was seeing were when I used the "visit site now" function immediately after generating the site to a local folder. I uploaded the site to my apache server and there the problem is slightly different. At first the navigator links show up but when I click on one of them it disappears. It show up again if I move the mouse back over it. This is the same both with Safari and Mozilla browsers. -Paul- |

It seems it was a colouring problem. The support guys picked it up really fast. Great service. I am still confused why it worked in 1.8. Thanks for your help too. -Paul- |
