Rescuing iWeb project to convert it to EverWeb??

I'm a filmmaker ... who's just spent a year in production (and away from building websites) ... and who will have three new films to push in the next month. I've got a number of old iWeb sites I was using prior to this last year. I want to convert them to EverWeb now that I will be going into serious distribution mode. My problem. When I try to open the iWeb projects (by double clicking open the Domain.sites2 project file ... they open into a BLANK iWeb project. The original projects are not corrupted, I don't think. If I do a 'Show Package Contents' all the files are still there. This is about 5 different websites, from different drives, so I don't see how they could all become corrupted. I'm running the latest of the latest of everything on this new-this-year Macbook Pro. Yosemite 10.10.5. Is this an issue out there does someone know? I haven't got any feedback from the Apple Discussion forums. Is there a fix, or workaround? Or some way to rebuild the sites into EverWeb format by working with the site itself? All ears, Ben |

The problem you describe started with Lion (10.7), so it's not new. According to your post in Apple Discussions you have 10.6.8 : https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7258872 If you search the iWeb forum at Apple Discussions you will find hundreds of topics that explain how to open a domain file if you have more than one. |

| Thank you Jumbo T. That must have been a previous laptop. I should reset on Apple. I'll go looking for the 'hundreds of topics'. I did a few searches before asking here and came up with nothing particularly relevant. Not having your skill at searches obviously. Will post a 'specific' solution here if I find it. | |

| Not having much luck on the Apple Discussions site Jumbo T. There are a small collection of posts (I'm still looking for the 'hundreds'). And they are all old and relating to Lion, which is two operating systems back I believe. I don't want to start messing with the terminal and writing code. So I'm still looking. | |
