Wondering about options on the PayPal widget

I will grant that this may be insane for an easy-website package, but this is something that's a problem for me: Let's say I sell T-shirts. The shirts I get at wholesale range in size from small to 6X. I see that I can easily charge more for sizes that cost me more; that's great. The problem that comes up is, the bigger sizes are available in fewer colors. Is there a way that I can make only the colors available for a given size show up as options for that size? I'm reluctant to go back to using the cart software I used in an earlier life, but if I have to, I have to. Thanks |

Hi. Off the top of my head I think the only way at present would be to do the price/description for each size/price combo. There is no way to adjust the price options according to what the visitor selects so doing stuff like size small $10 red, green blue and XL $15 red only in the PayPal widget can't be programmed in as such... | |

As Paul has pointed out in your duplicate post, you would need a button for each size. The simple answer would be to create rectangular buttons with the sizes on them rather than using a bunch of those ugly PayPal ones. They could then be stacked vertically or laid out inline. It would just be a question of adding an optional Choose control to the widget for inserting a custom button image. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I see that the PayPal widget has a custom button option so it's just a question of adding the ability to adjust its size and styles. Here's an example of this with a link to a free button maker for those who can't make their own. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
