| Thank you, Paul. We took all the 301s out as we were troubleshooting. We are trying to get the two offending sites back up and I will update you when we recreate the problem. -Dan | |

Hello the Team ! I have a question for redirect 301 : My old site iweb (www.blubahia.com) is moved in a new folder for archive and redirect on sub-domain (http://2011.blubahia.com) My new site Everweb is published in the new folder it's perfect. I testing the redirect 301 but no fonction... Exemple : Old page "Localisation" http://2011.blubahia.com/BluBahia/Localisation.html (google search link active with keyword research "blubahia localisation" : www.blubahia.com/Localisation.html) I want to redirect the link of this page in a new page "Contact" of my new site http://www.blubahia.com/contact.html. I filled in the address (http://www.blubahia.com/Localisation.html) in the fields on the page contact.html in EW, but the redirect does not work and google link (or single address) does not redirect to the "contact" page of the new site... (error 404 - normal since the page have moved in the subdomain) I do not have to understand everything, yet the video tutorial is simple ... Can you advise me or is it a bug? @Ced: i do not think the redirect will work with a subdomain. In your case you should include a meta refresh redirect in the Page Header section on Inspector->Page Settings->Header/Footer Basically in the Page header field of the page you want to redirect somewhere else you would enter this code; <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http://example.com/"> Replacing http://example.com with the new URL you want the old page to go to. @Daniel B: I don't see this redirect set up on your account.
