Have published revised website, which loads okay on PC but when viewing on mobile devices the landing page aligns to the left of the screen rather than in the center. Any ideas welcome. The facts are: ~ website has published okay: http://www.cepd.biz/index.html ~ website displays okay and all are centered on a PC screen ~ when viewed on mobile devices the front page views as being aligned to the left of screen - all other pages are centered ~ I haven't yet done any mobile specific pages ~ I haven't used the FB widget - yet! ~ have checked select all - front page and all objects are centered - I don't detect anything out of place Thanks. |

Resize the browser to 1000px wide (the width of the page) and even a blind horse can see the problem. Notice that you can scroll hoizontal? And even on a mobile device the culprit is screaming in my face. In case you still can't see it, it's the Community Mentors picture. Which is rather strange, because the page width is 1000px and the image is at left:1086px |

Thanks, I see it now. Something else I've learned. I've managed to overcome this problem by utilising powerpoint and iWeb to get a ribbon encasing all six images. This now alignes center on all devices and is responsive in sizing, which is great. However, this is at the cost of not being able to make any url links to these sites. Is it possible to do this? I've tried placing a transparent shape over each image and linking that, but these shift and aren't responsive to screen resizing. |

If you want responsive you need to think responsive! Here's a rough demo of a responsive footer with image links. Perhaps somebody should make a widget for this? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! | Excellent, a widget for this would certainly be helpful. Just what I'm looking for. It look's as though it'll take some digesting so will look at this over the next couple of weeks. | |

Widgets are now available for creating this type of footer and also one for creating a responsive header with the option to place logo/image links fixed relative to the browser left or right. See the DEMO pagefor more info.
