Viewing Using drop=down menus in "mobile" version

Using drop=down menus in "mobile" version

User: Maria F. 10 years ago
I am making my website with a mobile version 'redirect'. The mobile version now has TWO links for every page: the regular desktop version link, and also the mobile version link. Confusing and ugly. Is there a way to eliminate the desktop links on the mobile version, and the mobile links on the desktop version? Thanks!

You could use buttons with linked text for the links instead of using the menu in the mobile version. EW's nav menu widget will not allow you to say include in desktop and/or mobile. It's all or nothing. The other perhaps better way is to go to Roddy's website to see if he has some specific goodies to do what you want.

You will find links to lots of navigation menus in this topic...

Thanks, wellnl. That seems like the best way to work around the problem. Linked buttons wold work. I've browsed Roddy's array of navigation buttons but I don't really understand how they would work. I'm new to this, and I can't figure out or see examples of his various navigation tools. Will try your idea. Much appreciated!

If you follow the links and then click on any widget icon you will be taken to a page with instructions and an example.
