Everweb publishing contents from another Everweb website. What on Earth??

I have a bizarre problem! When I publish website A, Everweb publishes just fine. But when I publish website B, Everweb uploads the contents of Website A! The publishing settings for both sites are correct (and different from one another; I have checked with our hosting company, and there's no problem there. I am stumped. Here is the website A that is publishing properly:actualsizebooks.com Here is the website B that is publishing the contents from website A cookinguphistory.com Notice the different URLs. Am I correct that you host at InMotion? If so, according to this help page : http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/getting-started-guides/where-to-upload-files The main domain publishes in folder public_html. The second domain publishes in folder public_html/seconddomain.com Domain type URL path File Structure Main domain http://example.com public_html Subdomain http://store.example.com public_html/store Addon domain http://example2.com public_html/example2.com So based on that information, public_html has this site (the main domain): http://actualsizebooks.com/ and public_html/cookinguphistory.com should contain the second site (the Addon domain), but it doesn't : http://cookinguphistory.com/ http://actualsizebooks.com/cookinguphistory.com You may want to check the path in the ftp settings. |

We are having this issue too, However we have more than one website on the Host, 7 or more sites, ATM only one site seems to be effected in the same way you explain. I have not noticed another issue with the others, I can’t understand why this is happening. Settings all look good. We use 123reg hosting . /public_html/ <————- the main site , public root. “ http://bodycom-corporate.com “ /public_html/Bodycom/Bodycom.com/ <————- domain is mapped to folder in 123reg CP . any ideas .? One note the ever web project bodycom.com was crashing on publish, but OK using publish entire site. for a while. now it seems to have fixed itself. but the issue of above remains . ?? When using publish site changes seems to affect problem, or perhaps publishing while both sites are open. Publish entire seems to fix it. Last edit 10 years ago |
