Keyboard shortcuts suggestion

User: Boris K. 10 years ago
Hi Paul,

I have a great suggestion which I would love to see.
It can increase the workflow in Everweb!

Adobe Photoshop has it, it is called keyboard shortcuts.
With this we will be able to give our own shortcuts commands for the keyboard, mouse or other tough devices.
I'm using it a lot in photoshop since im hating it to press more buttons at once on a keyboard it is not a natural thing.
In Photoshop I'm working with a Wacom Bamboo tablet just the old cheap one with 4 huge glowing buttons on it, two of the buttons are for back and next change.
It would be awesome if we can change the keyboard shortcut command.
I have tried to use these wacom buttons with Everweb but unfortunately they don't work with Everweb.

I have tried this but this is not working.
You have to fill in the exact name as the command is called in the program.
So if you start with a empty project and you look at the edit menu a step backward is called undo (command z) and forward redo (command shift z).
My changes are undo (command ] ) and redo (command [ )
But as soon as you do anything in Everweb there will be a different command name it will be like undo textfield, undo color change or go back and then you see again (command z or command shift z) so these changes don't have a effect on this.
In adobe photoshop you can change these shortcut changes in photoshop and it works like a charm and is is not listed in the system application shortcuts. And they only have to set for step back and step forward and it will change every move automatic.
But at the applications shortcuts you have to list every possible action name and I don't know what every possible action names are in Everweb.

So I'm hoping that this can be integrated into Everweb

Oh and some other suggestion, please add a upload from computer button so we can upload our screenshots in Everweb.
I know that Jotform has it on their forum and it's really easy. Like you see I don't know how adding a image into the forum is working.
I have uploaded my pictures to postimage.org copied the link which was created and pasted in the link field. But nothing is showing up.

I can imagine that it can be frustrating to explaining things over and over again, so I would suggest to add this change to the forum as well.

Further more, I suggest tha the developers focus on the features that are needed instead of providing irrelevant features.

Keyboard shortcuts are great! I've set up quite a few that make using EW faster for me... The system interface works fine, don't think there's a need for EW to do anything.

Yes, I set up short cut for centre option a while back , great but I think mainly well used tools should have some default shortcuts in place.

I used

cmd alt C for Centring , works like a charm.
