Publishing issues

User: Christopher M. 10 years ago
Hi there,

I scrolled though a few pages of the discussion board, but couldn't find a similar question - wanting to see if anyone has an answer to this:

I've built a few sites with ever web and it works great, however, i've lately found that whenever I make a change to one page and publish, it messes up the formatting of the other pages (or at-least one of them).

What happens to other pages include: text being reformatted in a different size (either extremely large or very small), font changes to times new roman, text that was in a clear box is cut off at the top or bottom, images are stretched or shrunk.

It's becoming quite frustrating as the only solution i've found is to open everweb, go to the page with the issue and then select all and cut, then paste it and re-publish, or select all text and choose export as image. Even then, when I later update another page later on, it messes the formatting of a different page and I have to repeat the work-around mentioned above all over again.

Please tell me that it's just some sort of setting? or that others are also experiencing this too as it's driving me nuts.

I'm using the latest version of ever web and use two different hosting solutions. I also empty the cache on multiple browsers to make sure it's not the browser saving older versions of the site.

I have had this happen in the past.

My solution was to stop copying things from page to page. Instead I make a new one of whatever when I need it and now only have an occasional hiccup
