Hello the team, I have problems with the slider does not work in version 1.8.1 in Internet Explorer 8 (pb jquery I think ...) The images are stacked on the page. No apparent problems in chrome or firefox, but I was obliged to return to the 1.7.5 version for the slider works because my client is under XP (IE8) Here are links where you can see the problems: catches: http://test.cedric-a.com/ew/1.7.5-local2ftp/capture175.png http://test.cedric-a.com/ew/1.8.1b-local2ftp/capture181.png On line: http://test.cedric-a.com/ew/1.7.5-local2ftp/ http://test.cedric-a.com/ew/1.8.1b-local2ftp/ ----------------------------- MacBookPro Maveriks EW v1.7.5 Last edit 10 years ago ------------------------------- EW1.9 - Mavericks - MacBookPro Infographiste Web and Print • France Personal Websites : Cedric-a.com (Wp) - Speedomini.com (Ew) Professional Websites : Blubahia.com (Ew) - Kafibre.com (Ew) - Angejardin.fr (Dp) - APSevents.fr (iWeb) |

Hi Ced, Thank you for all the information, it was very useful in investigation the issue. Testing a blank project works for me on IE 8, however I tested your site and it showed the same problem. This suggests that there is some kind of conflict with some code you are using. 1. I see you have jQuery added twice. You have a code snippet in there that includes jQuery, but you do not need it because EverWeb includes it for you when using the Image Gallery. That could be one reason. 2. Have you tried doing a File->Publish Entire Site 3. It looks like there is some code missing from the Head section. Did you edit the page before publishing it online in an external editor? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Delete this from the Footer Code box. <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js"></script> If you are going to use code rather than a widget for items like the scroll top button you need to learn how to use it correctly. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Hi Roddy, code removed, no change... For the scroll top, it's a widget "Scroll Top" (ewcodebox) with a other font for an arrowa but create a problem on pc... it would take a picture of arrow instead of typo and my experience is very limited on the development of widget ... I turn next to something? Sorry for my English ... Are you publishing to a folder first? Can you publish directly to an FTP Server? EverWeb is only including a version of jQuery that works in IE 9+ when publishing to a folder. I can look into fix this, it was for reasons related to older versions of EverWeb. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Great, that's it! I just do it directly to the server and it works with ie8! http://test.cedric-a.com/ew/181b/index.html Problem : Publish to Local and transfer via Ftp Solution : Publish to server via Everweb Thank you Paul, it's good to know.
