Hi Courtney.

After i tried to publish my site after changing my home page to a directory & adding a png file.

========================================
This is a good one.
And a strange one.

Command arguments for PNG are generally left blank. I don't know the inner workings of EW but that's the first time that error has been posted here so I assume the odds are it's not EW. Can you test with replacing that PNG with a JPG and see what happens?
Also - the PNG - did you do anything strange to it? How was it created? PhotoShop? Found on the web?

Which version of EW are you using?

Welcome to beta software. With that said, I have a ton of PNGs on my pages with no problems using that version of EW. I assume you're using a PNG for transparency somewhere in the image. Depending on the version of PS you're using, there might be some settings that are incorrect. My CS5 (hate the later stuff) doesn't have any put it's still easy to mess up a PNG, especially if it was a converted JPG and masked with Topaz or similar.
Try looking at the original pix in PS and check the settings for IMAGE-MODE is set for RGB and 8 bit.

Just some guesses.

Good ideas... thanks Courtney ;-)

That's a message from your FTP server. It doesn't have anything to do with the PNG.

You should contact your web hosting provider to ask if there are any issues.

You can also try clearing your website files from your server and republishing with EverWeb.

Yes, servers sometimes send vague errors such as this which are hard to understand.

But it dosent work enyweay i get the same error nevertheless. I have tried everything, also with jpg. The upload to my server it doesn't work anymore.
