Fonts won't render when uploaded to hosting account

I just added some new web pages to my site. When I publish them to my hard drive the pages look great so I then up load them via FTP to my hosting account. When I look at the pages the fonts are falling back to the tiny black default fonts, especially on large or colored fonts. The link colors are not coming through correctly either. I am at a loss to know how to fix this. My Apache Web server renders them correctly when accessed from a remote location, just not my hosting account. Oliver Last edit 10 years ago |

Apache webservers do not render webpages. They send the files to the browser which does the rendering. Most likely you didn't upload the latest css file(s). |

Try using your browser's refresh button (command + r). If that doesn't fix it, use the EverWeb File menu to upload the entire site to make sure all the files are uploaded. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Make sure to follow our trouble shooting tips for the font formatting issues. Quote: My Apache Web server renders them correctly when accessed from a remote location, just not my hosting account. Can you be more specific with what you mean here? To me, this statement does not make sense. Can you elaborate? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
