Today I received an email via my EW site from a company asking me if I would like to upgrade my website to a RESPONSIVE DESIGN. Having worked in sales and marketing my entire life, the email is suspiciously targeted towards me as an EW user. I don't read junk email but this one did catch my attention. This is actually quite a good idea for web developers trying to get business. It's not for me as I actually like using EW and am happy with its results. I also feel a sense of loyalty to EW and like to support products/services I am happy with... hence this post to share my recent experience. EW CUSTOMERS - It's worth noting that you may receive emails from companies that are targeting EW sites for their prospective future sales opportunities. I can only assume these are intended to switch people away from EW to maintained sites built by developers. I can't believe more companies have not tried to reach out to EW users - especially those fixed on wanting a responsive design. If you're not happy with EW and desperately want a fully responsive site (which I and many do not), keep an eye on your emails! EW should be proud that they are getting the attention of other developers. EW is a great product! |
