I have multiple Apple Photos (formerly iPhoto) libraries. I have only been able to access my default library when using the Media feature, even if I have one of the other libraries open at the time. How can I access the my various libraries? |

Can you show a screenshot of what you see? When replying click the Advanced button next to reply to add image attachments. You can take a screenshot by holding down the COMMAND and SHIFT keys on your keyboard and then pressing the number 3. An image file will appear on your desktop, please send that to me. If your email client asks, select the option to send the full size, or original image file. Last edit 11 years ago ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| Thanks, Paul. The screenshot I've attached won't show you much, just photos that are in my default Photos library, not the one I want to access. I'm a long time iWeb user and found your software quite similar until I got to the photos. I have a photo-heavy site (www.scorps1970.com) and haven't been able to figure out how EverWeb would handle multiple albums like I have in my iWeb version. | |

I will have to look into this further because I am unsure why your other photo libraries won't show up. In the meantime you can drag and drop photos from the Finder into EverWeb.

| Paul, is there a widget that will allow me to create photo albums similar to the attached? | |

There's nothing like that available because Apple holds the copyright on it. You can create a gallery similar to it using the Swipe Gallery widget. It launches a slideshow from a single thumbnail so can be used multiplte times to create the same kind of thing - without the scrolling thumbnails of course! The problem with type of setup is that creates a very slow loading page. The page you have shown in the screenshot has over 500 images which is just ridiculous. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Thanks, Roddy. The description of the widget on the purchasing page sounds promising. Is there a site somewhere where I can see it in action? By the way, the sample page I sent you loads very quickly. Each album opens in a new window and has a very simple viewing or slideshow format. |

You can see it in action on the Swipe Gallery page I linked to previously. It only has two thumbnails - each of which launches a different slideshow.

@Steve: you can make pages like that, You'll just have to create a separate page that each of the thumbnails link to. So you can create a page and layout a bunch of thumbnails for each photo gallery. Then link each image to another page that has your actually Image Gallery. Basically manually create what iWeb did. It isn't much work though. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
