Viewing Full width object

Full width object

User: Yelena 8 years ago
I am trying to make a few objects Full Width and this is what happens when it is published... (It is the burgundy rectangle) It is moved higher on the page. IS this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Try emptying your cache. If that doesn't work can you upload the page somewhere so I can take a look?

Also make sure you have the latest build of 1.8.

I do have the latest version and it is NOT cache issue...I will publish and send a link shortly, thank you!

Here is the link http://www.monikakrajewska.com/home-1.html. You will see that there are three burgundy rectangles and they are all in the wrong place...higher they they should be....

I notice also that the word "About" has disappeared in the published version - even although it has a higher z-index.

I did a test and I don't get the problem you have. I'm using a later version than you are which has some fixes for this feature. I would wait for the next update to be released and it should then work OK.

Roddy, the words disappear because they are in a Text Box on top of the rectangle and in white...They are just not visible because rectangles move.
What do you mean you have the later version? I thought I had the latest? Version 1.8 Beta FC... IS there a newer one?

Is your full width object set to fixed position?

Also Roddy got a newer test version that is not yet on the forums.

No Paul, it is not in a fixed position. It seems to be happening only in that particular project. I tried another one on the same computer as well and it works well. I don't really need it in the current project but wanted to experiment....

If you send me the project, I can investigate. You can send it to the support email and please reference this forum thread.
