| i am brand new to everweb so forgive my ignorance. I have used iweb for many years so not new to site building in similar format. i am using plain black template. selecting photos page template and it has a bunch of photos of nice smiling people etc on there already. how do i completely remove these ? i can add photos fine but then when i highlight said template images and delete it gets rid of all pics on the page including ones i have just put on. any help much appreciated. am sure i'll be back on soon with more probs lol | |

You'll want to click on each photo and delete it. This of course assumes you are not referring to the images being in an Image Gallery widget. Let me know if that helps solve the problem. |

| that doesn't work, tried it several times. i have just rebuilt the pages. basically deleted all the pics along with the template images, so page was blank then started over but problem then is each image has to be re sized to suit as opposed to just drag to place and it sizes automatically. kinda sorts it, bit more painstaking. it basically makes it a blank page instead of a photo page if that makes sense. cheers tho | |

What would happen when you tried to delete the individual photos? You should be able to select one image by clicking on it, and then hitting the delete key on your keyboard (this would not work on an image gallery though). Each image would need to be resized by you anyways, because your images will be different from the sample images that were in the theme, so you would wan to resize them to appear the way you want, unless you had already resized them in an image editor before loading them in EverWeb, in which case you would just use the Original Size of the image. |

I think you are deleting the entire Image Gallery widget instead of individual images. If you've already deleted the image gallery, drag and drop the image gallery widget from the Widget tab and start adding your own images. Otherwise you can easily delete individual images from the image gallery widget by selecting the Image Gallery then go to Inspector->Widget tab (last tab) and select the images you want to delete in that list and press the delete key on your keyboard.
