Viewing Slim Scroll Widgets

Slim Scroll Widgets

User: Roddy 8 years ago
Two new widgets are available for creating scrollers with a custom scrollbar using jQuery. The widgets were designed for an EverWeb user who wanted a scroller but didn’t like the browser default scrollbars which appear in the Scroller widget. Apparently the ones in Internet Explorer are particularly horrendous.

The scrollbar in these widgets is slim and the color can be changed. The background can be removed so that it inherits the page background or that of any object placed behind it.

The Slim Scroll widget has been added to the EZ widgets pack and, as its name implies, is a no brainer to use.

The Slim Scroll HTML widget has been added to the Advanced widgets pack and is for those who want more options and have a basic knowledge of HTML. The main styles are setup in the widget settings and it can accommodate more or less anything such as full width image, centered image, text wrap image, lists and so on.

Hi!

I tried successfully the older scroller widget versions. But, like you say, the scrollbar in Explorer are horrendous.

So, I am trying the Slim Scroll widget. But I can´t insert a page.html inside, like in the older widget versions. Is possible to do it editing the code after publishing?

I looked for the Slim Scroll HTML version too, but the link is broken.

Thanks!

The HTML version was included in an Advanced widgets pack which I withdrew due to the fact that a number of users - who were definitely not "advanced" - expecting unlimited support for a widgets which only cost them about 50 cents each.

If you Contact Me, I will send you a copy.
