Viewing PayPal Prices

PayPal Prices

User: Raf P. 11 years ago
Please check this out.
Opening an exsisting site in 1.8FC, all PayPal prices changed. The numbers after . (point) became 00 (zero).
For example: €12.95 changed in €12.00
I placed 1 new PayPal-widget (1.8) but removed it after the try out.
I closed the site without saving and opened it again in 1.7.5. The numbers are still .00
Used the PayPal EU widget.
It's hard to know for the exactly reason but this is what happened.

Hi Paul,

I checked this out again.
I opened the website in 1.7.5 and changed all prices again with 2 numbers after the point yesterday. For example: 12.95
Uploaded all changes.
Checked out online and worked perfect.
But today, I opened the site online and tried out by buying some products.
You know what: ALL numbers are gone again in the PayPal basket! €12.95 becomes €12.00 ??????
I opened EW again and all PayPal prices in the widget are back to .00 ????
Somebody knows a solution for this?

So now I know this is NOT an EW 1.8 problem.

Hi,

In the price field, don't include the currency symbol, just enter the number.

Let me know if that works.

It works ok for me.

Next step.
I threw away all PayPal buttons. Removed the Paypal EU widget.
I created all buttons again with the default EW widget.
Uploaded the entire site.
After a few hours, I checked the online version by buying some products.
ALL prices are changed to zero decimals???? For example 12.95 became 12.00 !
What goes wrong? Does EW have a solution?

There is a problem with the decimals.
This is what Paypal uses.
EUR - Euros - #,###.##

I'll need you to send me your website project file then so I can take a look.

In the Projects window in EverWeb, click the arrow on the right next to your website and select the 'Show On Disk' option.

**DO NOT move this file from this location on your computer**

Please compress the project file before sending it to me by right clicking on it and selecting Compress. You can upload it at http://ge.tt or http://www.dropbox.com and send the link to me.

Make sure to describe the problem you are experiencing when you send your email.
