Unable to select Blank template

Hi, I have noticed that when selecting the Blank theme nothing happens. I have been able to download and select other much larger themes but not this one. Not a deal breaker but still a pain when I want to create my own theme from scratch. I know I can just select the Plain White theme but thought I'd mention it!! Cheers, Seán. |

What version of EW are you using? Did you know you can make your own and save it to select whenever you want? |

Have you tried deleting the version of EverWeb you have and re-downloading? You don't lose any data. The only reason this would happen is if you deleted the blank template file from your EverWeb application package. Hi Paul, I have tried deleting the app and re-downloaded and installed the latest beta correctly but it is still not working. The small grey arrow changes to blue when you try to download it but the timer does not appear that shows it is actually downloading. When you press select it tells me that a template is downloading and to wait - I have been waiting 10 minutes and still no sign of it! I can download all the other templates with no issues. It is not a problem for me but just thought I would let you know. Thanks, Seán. |

Hi Seán, Thanks for letting me know. However I cannot reproduce this. This would only happen if EverWeb cannot find the local Blank template which is included in the EverWeb application package. If you could let me know if you there is some different way you are installing EverWeb, that would be helpful. For example, is it place on a hard drive without read/write permissions? Please let me know. Hi Paul, I have checked the permissions and they are fine. It is located on the internal hard drive in Macintosh HD/Applications. I have tried moving the app to Macintosh HD/Users/Seán/Applications but still not working. Again, I can download and install any other template with no problems in either location but NOT the Blank Theme?! Strange but, as I have already stated, it is not a deal breaker. Hi Seán, Thanks for the additional info and I do understand it is not a deal breaker for you but other users are having this issue and we are unable to figure out why at this point. For the majority of users it works fine. Would it be possible to set up a screen share so I can take a look at what is happening? Hi Paul, Sorry I have been working nights for the past week so not had a chance to reply. Just a quick update though - it now works!! I downloaded and installed the Release Candidate today and now when selecting the Blank template, it works with no issues. Liking the Blank mobile option too - very handy. Hello I also have the same issue which has only recently developed. I'm running EW1.7.5 Build:1343 on OS10.9.5. New info concerning Blank templates Issues. Thanks to Paul-RAGESW we were able to close in on the blank page issue. It seems that 1.8 was causing the problem. Thanks Paul you've just save me from a world of ongoing frustrations. Best regards S.Lebel |
