How do I make HTML snippets appear in Everweb?

It is wonderful when snippets and widgets (e.g., Google Maps) appear in Everweb; I can see where they are on the page and position them properly. However, a whole lot of them just give me a grey box that says "Generating Preview," and the box dimensions don't coincide with what is eventually published (even after I resize the box to approximate that actual image that finally appears). My point is that I have to approximate a location, publish the page, approximate it again, and so on. Why do some appear and some do not? Under Preferences/General I set the HTML Snippet preview delay to "20" with little result. Some things are just weird—EverwebCodeBox's Heading snippet won't update at all—and then will after a couple of days. What can I do to get Everweb to show me more previews, more often? Thank you! |
