Very often it happens, when i navigate with my mouse-cursor to a button of my navigation bar, the button disappears. Is it possible to fix this bug? Screenshot Example: |

This would happen if the hover background color was white. You would need to post the URL to a published page with the navigation on it to get help with this.

You have created buttons using shape images which is not a good idea anyway. The button with the text "Typ Cartoon" for example has the hover image as this... http://grundriss4you.de/images/grundrisse/shape_mh_21.png You can see that this is a white image with a blue right hand border. The text is also white so it disappears into the background. It's there but we can't see it. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! I made the buttons with the shapes tool (Rectangle) from EW. How else should i build a button on EW? This feature is given in EW, and i just used it. I filled it with a gradient fill (2 colours) on the normal style. Then i filled it with a color fill on the mouse over style. The text colour is seperate picked up and always the same without hower effects. The hower image from your post-example isn't made by me. How else can i make a button in EW with gradient fill? Do I have to make the Text in a seperare box? Because the text in the buttons were made by double clicking on the rectangle shape. |

I use Roddys button widget for my buttons. It has gradient, and you can change the corner radius easily

Are you sure you didn't set the mouse over color to white in the Inspector for the navigation bar? ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Yes, I'm sure - there is no white color in the settings. Normal Mouse Over Mouse Down |

Did you make each button? Or did you copy any of them?

Hello Jim, I'm not sure if I made each button seperate. If there is something you know, please let me know, because I've still not found a solution to solve this within EW. I know there are some other ways to make some hower-effects with html codes etc., but that's not the point I'm looking for. I'm just wondering why the button dissapears (or looking whithe), if I hower it with my mouse cursor. Regards. |

Your buttons seem OK now. They have a lighter blue background on hover. If you can see this, clear your browser cache or hit the refresh button a few times. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! Looks good now. I asked because when I have copied buttons/links I have found they do not work correctly a lot of the time and I had to just make new ones
